Free Family Law Advice
The Hunter Community Legal Centre provides free Family Law advice in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and surrounding regions. The Family Law advice services consist of:
- A Duty Solicitor service for self-represented parties to family law disputes in the Family Court of Australia (FCA) and the Federal Circuit Court (FCC) in Newcastle.
- A face to face Family Law Advice service for self-represented parties to family law disputes in the Family Court of Australia (FCA) and the Federal Circuit Court (FCC) in Newcastle.
- Legal advice through the Family Relationship Centre service for parents engaged in family dispute resolution in the Newcastle and Taree Family Relationship Centres.
The Family Law Advice service is not available to any person who is eligible for legal aid. Before contacting the Hunter Community Legal Centre for assistance you should check your eligibility for Legal Aid, or apply for a grant of Legal Aid, by contacting Newcastle Legal Aid on (02) 49295482 or going to the Legal Aid website at www.legalaid.nsw.gov.au.
